Hotter

“Yes, I can do that” said the friendly imp

The wind, the wind

It will cut straight through you

Life as a tank

Is now empty and blank

Smoke-eater

Don't worry, he's going to fix everything

Peril

Has never been so perilous

Snail shower

Nine out of ten meteorologists won't go out in one

Storm arriving

He does enjoy a dramatic entrance

As streaks go by

The wind might play an eerie tune

So this morning

Someone has been up very early flattening all the clouds

The damp

Is your friend

On cold dark mornings

I go shopping with Mrs Umbrella

This, and the wind

And the wind will be back tomorrow

Snowflake

Each one is different

Arriving on the wind

And leaving by the same door

Somewhere less sheltered

They soon understood they were in the presence of ghost umbrellas

Lacking in significance

It was fair weather for the Snailing Fair again this year

About the wind

It went right through them, dry and whistling

Due to certain breezes

The ladies generally liked a little fire

Welcome to my vortex

It's the little black one, actually

Teabreak and smoking hat

In the grey aftermath of a fiery sunrise
